Regarding the Request to Change Bank Accounts

Dear Student,

Please be advised of the Ministry directive regarding a request to change bank accounts, the following procedures will be implemented:

1. Students are allowed to change their bank account a maximum of three (3) times during the entire scholarship period. All previous bank account change(s) prior to this memo are counted towards the allowed 3 requests.
2. Students must provide an official letter from the bank proving that the previous bank account has been closed.
3. Change of bank accounts can only be requested between the 1^st and 10^th day of each month. If a request is submitted AFTER the 10^th of the month, the new account can only be used in the next month’s deposit. (Example: If submitted on June 13^th, the new account will be used beginning with the July deposit).
4. The student will bear full responsibility for changing their bank account if they fail to comply with the dates specified.
5. The Cultural Office has the right to take all necessary actions to protect the reputation of the State of Kuwait abroad and ensure that students comply with the applicable regulations in this regard.

  بخصوص تغيير الحسابات البنكية

يرجى العلم بالتوصيات الصادرة عن الوزارة بشأن طلبات تغيير الحسابات البنكية، والذي سيتم تطبيقه وفقًا للإجراءات التالية:

1. السماح للطالب بتغيير حسابه البنكي بحد أقصى ثلاث مرات خلال فترة البعثة الدراسية، وسيتم احتساب جميع التغييرات السابقة للحساب البنكي قبل صدور هذا التعميم ضمن العدد المسموح به.
2. يجب على الطالب تقديم خطاب رسمي من البنك يثبت فيه إغلاق الحساب البنكي السابق.
3. يمكن تقديم طلبات تغيير الحساب البنكي فقط خلال الفترة من اليوم الأول وحتى اليوم العاشر من كل شهر. وفي حال تقديم الطلب بعد اليوم العاشر، سيتم اعتماد الحساب الجديد اعتبارًا من الشهر التالي. (مثال: إذا تم تقديم الطلب بتاريخ 13 يونيو، فسيتم اعتماد الحساب الجديد اعتبارًا من راتب شهر يوليو).
4. يتحمل الطالب المسؤولية الكاملة في حال تغييره لحسابه البنكي دون الالتزام بالمواعيد المحددة و القواعد السابقة.
5. للمكتب الثقافي الحق في إتخاذ الإجراءات الكافية التي من شأنها المحافظة سمعة دولة الكويت بالخارج، وضمان التزام الطلبة باللوائح والنظم المعمول بها في هذا الشأن.
