Dr. Nayef N. Alshammari is Cultural Counselor/Director at Washington DC office. He was Professor of Economics, College of Business Administration at Kuwait University. He was a Visiting Professor at Sciences Po's Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA), France, 2020. He previously served as Associate Dean of Student Affairs at Kuwait University, Director of Economics Graduate Program, and worked as a Research Fellow at American University in Washington DC. Dr. Alshammari has also worked as Assistant Manager of the Economics Research Department at Central Bank of Kuwait. Dr. Alshammari was awarded the "Scientific Production Prize" of the year in 2019 by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS). He also was awarded the "Distinguished Researcher Prize" of the year in 2021 by the Kuwait University. Dr.Alshammari also was awarded the " Kuwaiti Economic Researcher Prize" of the year in 2021 by the Central Bank of Kuwait. Dr. Alshammari holds a PhD in Economics from Syracuse University in New York, 2008. |
